A thriller by Stephen King
Stephen King is my guilty pleasure.
The Stand made such a great impression on me, none of the tv adaptations have done justice to the sheer power of the novel.
2 fun facts
- I initially read a spanish translation of The Stand, and the cursing was even more funny there 🤣
- I had to sleep with the lights on for a couple of days, after reading Salem's Lot 🤣
Having said, The Institute didn't really capture me.
Not a bad story, maybe it's just that I found the premise a bit "simple"
